Square Inc (NYSE: SQ), a publicly traded multi-billion dollar company, known for products like CashApp, Square Payments and Square POS, made a partnership with Fello, a hardware rental company, to be their official hardware rental partner. While there are many open source e-commerce platforms like Magento and Woocommerce, none of these supported the complex pricing, tracking and fulfillment requirements of the client, so we built a website using the Laravel framework.
We were contracted by Fello to build a rental portal for Square POS hardware that supports the complex pricing, tracking and fulfillment requirements of the client and we built the website using the Laravel framework.
We also built inventory management and order fulfillment systems for the client which were tightly integrated into the Square hardware website.

Users can select rental period, product bundles, accessories and services. Pricing is based on length of rental, equipment type and quantity.
Verifies addresses and suggests corrections using the UPS API
Checks the inventory to see if the items (quantity) in cart are available for desired dates.
Users can download PDF quote, tracked using Google Analytics.
The shipping time and cost is calculated based on the customer ZIP code and the size/weight of item/s.
Captures and authorizes credit card information. Automatic receipt generated. Order is added to our Fello inventory fulfillment system.
